You will also receive important information on other settings.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. set display brightness<\/h4>\n\n<p>Adjusting the brightness of your speedometer display is particularly useful when riding in different light conditions.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Turn the ignition key to OFF.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hold down the SELECT button and turn the ignition key to ON.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press and hold the SELECT button for at least 5 seconds until boxes appear on the display.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Release the SELECT button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press the RESET button to adjust the brightness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To go to the next setting, press the SELECT button again.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. set the time<\/h4>\n\n<p>Follow these steps so that you always have the exact time in view:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Turn the ignition key to OFF.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hold down the SELECT button and turn the ignition key to ON.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait until the hour display starts to flash.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the RESET button to set the hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press the SELECT button to switch to the minute display and set this too.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. set the switching flash<\/h4>\n\n<p>The shift light shows you when you should shift gears to get the best performance out of your Yamaha.
